What Can I Use Spanish Lessons For?

Our Impact

Rural areas of the Dominican Republic experience 75% unemployment rates among young adults. These young people leave their homes in search of opportunity, increasing the strain on their communities and leads to overcrowding in cities.

Many of these people leave out of necessity, and if given the chance, would rather remain in their communities, work to improve them, and provide for their families.

We create jobs for bilingual young adults and mothers in these communities.

By creating Spanish tutoring roles, this not only creates more economic stability in the rural Dominican Republic, but it also encourages young people to learn Spanish and English.
